THE SAGES MISSION

The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) represents a worldwide community of surgeons that can bring minimal access surgery, endoscopy and emerging techniques to patients in every country.

SAGES mission includes the exchange of information in current and emerging minimal access technology and techniques.

As use of the Internet has become more prevalent, patients have increasingly consulted the web to aid in healthcare decisions. SAGES realizes that information on the Internet can be unreliable so we have created this web site to provide the most accurate, up-to-date and widely accepted medical information on surgery for morbid obesity.
